Forge Valley Cottages

Established in 1991, Horseshoe, Honeysuckle and Heron are three adjacent, two bedroom, stone-built cottages. They are situated in the friendly village of East Ayton on the River Derwent, close to Scarborough.

Great days out await you as East Ayton is your gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors and historic seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey.

The ancient city of York is just 40 minutes away by road or rail and all the cottages are on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park so Heartbeat country is on your doorstep!

All our cottages are very highly equipped, cosy and comfortable and have been awarded ‘Four Stars’ by Enjoy England.

Each has off-street parking and an enclosed patio-garden with gas barbeque. We are open all year: all our cottages are non-smoking and well behaved pets are welcome.
