Facilities

All our cottages are very highly equipped, cosy and comfortable and have been awarded ‘Four Stars’ by Enjoy England.

Full gas central heating. All cottages are double glazed and each radiator has a thermostat control for your comfort.

Private parking & Garden. Off-street parking and a small, enclosed, dog proof, south facing patio-garden with outdoor table, chairs and a gas-barbeque.

Forge Valley Cottages

The Kitchens are fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing-machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and cooker. A comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils is provided.

Children - all cottages are equipped with a highchair and cot, stairgate, smoke alarms, fire extinguisher, fire blanket and First Aid kit. Cleaning materials, washing up liquid, tea towels, iron and ironing board, clothes horse and a clothes line are all provided.

The Sitting rooms all have comfortable three piece suites, dining table and chairs, remote control 21” televisions with DVD and Video players, a CD HiFi system, occasional tables, side lamps, playing cards, dictionary and a comprehensive range of local information, tourist attractions, walks and special events.

Forge Valley Cottages

Bedrooms in the cottages have either twin (or double beds with good, firm mattresses. Full bed linen and duvets are provided and all beds are made up prior to arrival. Each bedroom has ample storage and hanging space with a wardrobe and hangers, dressing table, bedside tables, lamps, hairdryers and fans for the summer. There is also space in the twin bedroom for a ‘camp bed’ for a young person.

The Bathrooms have a fitted three piece suite with power showers fitted over the bath. They have a shaverpoint, mirror, towel rails and basic toiletries. Towels are not included but can be provided at an extra cost.

Facilities

Pets are very welcome in our cottages for an extra charge per dog per week. It is expected that all dogs have their own basket or clean bedding, that they are not allowed upstairs or on any furniture, and that the cottages are left free of dog hair otherwise a charge will be made for any extra cleaning required.
